Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 3 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp white miso paste
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric

Instructions

  1. Boil cashews for 10 minutes until soft. Drain. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour mixture through cheesecloth to remove any cashew bits to ensure cheese texture. Over medium-high heat, stir mixture into a small sauce pan. Cook and stir until mixture firs up and becomes smooth cheese consistancy.

Cashews can be soaked for 4 hours or overnight.
